We’re Proud to Win the Community Improvement Award at the Connected Britain Awards

We are absolutely delighted to share some very special news: we have won the Community Improvement Award at the Connected Britain Awards!

The Connected Britain Awards celebrate organisations and individuals making a real difference through technology, connectivity and innovation across the country, and globally. To have our work recognised in the Community Improvement category is a huge honour — and one that means so much to everyone involved in our robotics programme.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to discover that they can be a coder, an engineer, an inventor or a robotics expert and that is why our programme works – bringing together incredible business sponsors to support children across the UK and abroad through Littlegarth Microbotics to experience robotics first hand and become the thinkers of the future. By taking away the cost of equipment, resources and competition entry that can create barriers for schools and pupils we are ensuring that pupils everywhere have the opportunity to get hands-on with technology, build their own robots and take part in challenges that might otherwise have been out of reach.

If you are a business that would like to be part of this community improvement project to nurture tomorrow’s generation, then please talk to us so that we can open up the opportunity to even more children in schools across the world. Please contact microbotics@littlegarth.org.
