This year, our school had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day, with children diving into a world of stories, imagination, and creativity!
The day began with a brilliant assembly, where staff and children came together to celebrate the joy of reading and highlight some of the exciting activities planned for the day.
Our children then enjoyed a variety of engaging activities. The Book Bistro was a big hit, where children relaxed with their favorite books and enjoyed some storytime treats. The excitement continued with a scavenger hunt, challenging children to explore the school while uncovering clues hidden in book-themed riddles.
Creativity was flowing in our creative writing workshops, where budding authors put pen to paper to craft their own stories, experimenting with plots, characters, and imaginative worlds. The day culminated in a special session of sharing the children’s creative writing, where students proudly read their stories aloud, inspiring laughter, curiosity, and admiration from their peers.
World Book Day was a brilliant reminder of the joy books can bring and how stories can connect us all. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so memorable!
