It has been a hugely successful and action-packed week for our pupils, with excellent performances across football, rugby and netball.
Under 11 Football Success ⚽
On Monday, our Under 11 5-a-side football teams took part in the ISA regional competition and delivered outstanding results.
Our 1st team produced a superb performance to qualify for the ISA National Football Finals, which will be held at St George’s Park in March — a fantastic achievement and a real testament to their teamwork, skill, and determination.
Our 2nd team also impressed, finishing second in a highly competitive regional tournament, showing great resilience and quality throughout the event. Congratulations to both teams for representing the school so positively!
Rugby Highlights Across the Week 🏉
The success continued on the rugby field later in the week. On Wednesday, our Year 4 and Year 5 teams competed at the Tonbridge Rugby Festival, taking on strong opposition, including several large London prep schools. Both teams performed exceptionally well, with the Year 4 team finishing an impressive second place.
On Friday, our Year 3 and Year 4 rugby teams were back in action at OBH, where the momentum continued. Both teams produced dominant performances, winning all of their matches and demonstrating excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence.
Netball Festival Success 🏐
The week concluded on a high note on Saturday, when our Girls’ Netball teams from Years 5 and 6 competed in the local Netball Festival. Both teams performed extremely well, displaying great skill, energy, and teamwork throughout the competition. Their commitment and enthusiasm were clear to see, and they represented the school brilliantly.
A huge well done to all of the pupils involved and sincere thanks to the staff and coaches for their continued support. It has truly been a week to remember and a fantastic showcase of the talent, commitment, and sporting spirit across the school.
