Our school has been buzzing with excitement as we celebrated NSPCC Number Day alongside TTRS Rock Star Day, combining maths, music and fundraising fun across the school.

Yesterday, the children took part in a brilliant mathematical-themed assembly that highlighted just how important numbers are in our everyday lives. Pupils explored maths in a fun and engaging way while also learning about the vital work of the NSPCC and how events like Number Day help support children across the country. Pupils were rewarded for their excellent achievements in Maths and also for their outstanding progress since learning their times tables. The assembly sparked lots of enthusiasm and set the tone for an action-packed celebration of maths.

Today, the fun continued with TTRS Rock Star Day, and the children certainly rose to the occasion! Dressed as rock stars, musicians and pop icons, pupils brought energy and excitement into school as they tackled a range of Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) challenges. Classrooms were filled with determination, focus and plenty of air-guitar poses as children worked hard to improve their times tables and earn points for their classes.
A huge well done to all our rock star mathematicians and thank you to everyone for supporting NSPCC Numbers Day. What a wonderful way to celebrate maths across the school!
